The David Booker Band plays an eclectic mix of Blues, Classic Roots Rock, Louisiana Swamp Rock and New Orleans R&B, plus original material. Sometimes we are billed as "The AlleyGators" when an event like a Crawfish Boil, a Mardi Gras Party, or a Jazz/Blues Festival is offered. (Our Best of The AlleyGators cd is still in print). Artists covered by the David Booker Band are Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Grateful Dead, Johnny Cash, Tony Joe White, Hot Tuna, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Dr John, plus many many more. The David Booker Band is available as a 2 piece - 6 piece Group. Weddings, Corporate, and Theme Events are our specialty. We are  great '50s show band, a Swing Band (see Swing Page) and can do an evening of Blues and Soul/Motown...or better still mix everything together to make a heck of a party!
