I have been writing reviews and articles for the Colorado Blues Society
Holler (their bimonthly publication) for several years now.
During that time, I've reviewed CDs for such diverse artists as Sleepy
John Estes to jazz-sax legend Sonny Stitt, and most everyone else
in between! I've done special features, reviewed books, vhs tapes
and dvds by many, many artists.
Here are a few examples of my writings; it's the tip of the iceberg, and
I hope you enjoy the read. Each issue of Holler is chock full
of great articles, news and info. We encourage everyone who likes
American Roots Music to become a member of the Blues Society. It is
a wonderful organization and does so much for the community. For instance,
the 'Blues in Schools' program (which I am a part of) is organized
by President Scott Fitzke, and musician/teacher extroadinaire Dan
Treanor. It is really a unique concept, and is growing by leaps and
bounds in schools and educational facilities all over Colorado. Here's
how to find out more about the Colorado Blues Society and become a
